The Forrest Gump Card

Happy Resurrection Day my friends. I thought that I'd pop in real quick to share a card with you for no particular reason. I decided to participate in Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge 429 (SC429) and Featured Stamper 321 (FS321), who is Lionsmane. I chose CASE her Peanut Butter Jelly Love card. I've been wanting to so something with food lately for some reason and have a few other stamp sets with that theme that you will be seeing more of, but the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps You & Me stamp set was what I grabbed today. I used a gazillion Copic markers on this card since I had three different green shades to cover, did some machine stitching, some die-cutting. It's a really adorable stamp set.

We've had some pretty bad storms here in California lately, like almost Kentucky caliber, with the crashing thunder and lightening. That's rare here, but it is our rainy season.

I have a major surgery coming up in a few weeks and I'm pre-posting like mad, so please just keep me in your prayers. I thank God for my father, who is my rock, and the best friends (and their husbands; now I know how it's really supposed to work), a girl could ever want or have who love me and I'm not just a whatever and the only time my existence is even acknowledged is to get abused. I can't even begin fathom the unbelievable cruelty of those "humans" who act they way that they do and somehow make it all my fault, which I was told as well. It will be a tough recovery and not a lot of fun. This is one of those times when I would like to have a husband who loves me and my kids by my side, like normal families, that's for sure. However, that is not, nor ever was, an option for me. I had to fight for my right to live this week. Nobody deserves that or should even have say to another that "I have a right to live." It was ignored. And my poor elderly father, less than one week out from surgery for eye cancer even got his share. Then my "husband" said that he deserved it too because he was supposedly doing something wrong. What kind of monster does that? This is sickening and I can't write anymore or else I will throw up. There is no justification and it's straight from the pit of hell.

So much for that fun blog post. Yesterday was also my wedding anniversary. It will be the last. They never meant anything anyway. No dinners, not even a day trip. And no, believe it or not, I am not bitter, but you cross a serious boundary when you start messing with my dad and it makes me very angry.
