SUOC #349 | Birthdays

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #349 where our theme is Birthdays and hope that you join us!

For today’s project, I am using the new Take To The Sky Suite Collection on pages 36-37 of the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog that will be available to you on May 1, which is just around the corner. I honestly don’t know where this year has gone.

This suite collection consists of the Adventurous Sky cling stamp set and coordinating die-cuts, Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper, and Industrial Trinkets. The colors are Copper Clay, Mossy Meadow, Boho Blue, Night of Navy, and Smoky Slate. This suite collection is more on the masculine side can be used in so many ways from birthdays to travel. There are some fantastic standalone die-cuts, three of which I used to create the airplane pieces.

The piece of designer series paper I used for the fuselage of the plane appears as a raw fuselage, which is pretty cool. There are some great patterns in this DSP that can easily be taken out of the suite for other papercrafting ideas.

I started out with an A2 landscape Night 0f Navy card base and layered on a piece of Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper.

I die-cut the fuselage from Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper, the elevator from Night of Navy CS, and the propeller from Basic Black CS, all of which were assembled together with liquid adhesive.

The birthday sentiment from Adventurous Sky was stamped onto Basic White Regular CS with Night of Navy ink and cut from the banner die in Adventurous Sky.

For final assembly, I cut a piece of Vellum CS to 4 x 3 and adhered the airplane to the Vellum with Mini Black Stampin’ Dimensionals, as was the sentiment.

Liquid adhesive was applied to the Vellum CS behind the airplane and sentiment then atop the card base.

Lastly, an Industrial Trinket was adhered to the left banner with a Mini Glue Dot.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
