Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #339 | Food Fiesta

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #339, where our theme is Food Fiesta and hope that you join us!

This is basically a big color challenge to pick 13 of our colors with a food or drink name in them. I would consider Crushed Curry as it is a spice in food but, that’s up to you. I used Crushed Curry in my card as it’s in the Bold Merry & Bright Designer Series Paper.

This was such a fun and easy card to create.

Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green, and Blueberry Bushel were used on my Christmas card. The trees are from Forever Forest Dies with the sentiment from Joy of Noel stamp set.

As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.

I started out with my landscape 5-1/2 x 4-1/2 Basic White Thick card base and layered on a piece of striped Bold Merry & Bright Designer Series Paper with liquid adhesive.

I cut a Melon Mambo mat to 4-1/2 x 3-1/4 and a piece of Basic White Regular CS to 4-3/8 x 3-1/8 for the sentiment and image panel.

I stamped my sentiment from Joy of Noel onto the Basic White Regular CS in Versamark ink that was heat set with gold embossing powder. Always prep your cardstock with the Embossing Buddy before heat embossing.

I adhered the sentiment panel to the Melon Mambo mat with liquid adhesive, then adhered the entire panel with Stampin’ Dimensonals to the card base.

I die-cut the small tree from Forever Forest Dies several times from L to R of Pool Party, Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Blueberry Bushel, Granny Apple Green, Crushed Curry, and Poppy Parade.

I cut Black Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals in half to adhere the trees to the image panel.

To embellish, 7 Gold Festive Pearls were adhered to the trees.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
