Les Shoppes Suite Collection + Coordinating Shop The Town Shopping Bag Gift Card

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a fun shopping bag gift card idea created from the Les Shoppes Suite Collection on pages 30-31 of the Annual Catalog and the coordinating Shop The Town stamp set in the Holiday Catalog.

I brought in other Holiday Catalog products to embellish. The Loose Holly Gems & Sequins are whimsically darling.

The Real Red CS is more of a faux gift card and was left out of the Supplies but, a red gift card really makes this HGTV David Bromstad pop.

This is the easiest and most cost effective way to send family and friends their Christmas card with a gift card. Of course, this design can carry over to any occasion.

As always, your shopping Supplies are below.

I started out with my top-folding A2 Gray Granite card base measuring 4-1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2, and then folded.

I inked up the line of bulb image with Gray Granite ink and stamped that on the left and right side of the card base.

I cut a piece of Basic White Regular CS to 3-3/4 x 5-1/2 and embossed that with the Snowflake Sky 3D EF and adhered this to the card base with liquid adhesive.

I then cut the large Mini Envelope Pocket Die out of Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper and adhered it together with Tear & Tape.

I accidentally left Vellum CS off the Supply List and this is what I worked on next. The sentiments and image were stamped onto Vellum CS with Versamark ink and heat embossed with silver powder. I wing cut the Vellum CS to size, banner punched the bottom, and adhered it to an Adhesive Sheet that was adhered to the Mini Pocket Envelope.

I measured down from the top and left to right on the sides 1/2″of the pocket envelope, and punched a hole. I then threaded and triple knotted a length of Linen Thread through the holes for a rustic shopping bag handle. The bag was then adhered to the card base with Tear & Tape.

For final assembly, I inserted my faux Real Red gift card and cut a piece Silver & White Sheer Ribbon to tuck in the envelop atop the faux gift card.

Two leaves and a Real Red gem from Loose Holly & Gems Sequins were adhered to the top left of the bag with Mini Glue Dots.

Lastly, Adhesive Backed Glitter Sequins were adhered to the top of the card.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
