Paper Craft Crew Mid-Week Inspiration 212, Bold Colors + Birthday Boy Card

Hello there and a happy Sunday to you!

For this week’s Paper Craft Crew Mid-Week Inspiration 212, we have a bold color challenge for you. I used 2 of the 4 colors, but you have to admit this is a very bold-colored card. I made it for my little buddy, Caleb, who is Pam’s son. He just turned 7 and I’ve known him since he was 2. I love to FaceTime with Caleb. He’s just the sweetest little boy.

All little boys love dinosaurs and bright, primary colors, so I took this opportunity to break out the No Bones About It stamp set. This is a wonderful 2-step stamp set and the bold colors were perfect to stamp my “bones” inside. There’s even an adorable little birthday hat in the stamp set that I used 2 markers on to color directly onto the stamp. This took a few impressions to get the bold color that I wanted. When you color on stamps, especially photopolymer, you don’t always get the best results. I used my MISTI to make most of this card for perfect alignment.
