Life’s a Stitch

Good morning! As you can tell, my blog is obviously still being worked on and I am hoping that it gets finished up today. Please pardon the mess. Today's Sweet Stop Sketch 57 by Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps is a fun one. I took a little bit of liberty because I absolutely had to use this journal card for my sentiment. It was too perfect. Another plus is that Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps will be offering clear stamps again, as well as their line of digital stamps, so you can have your cake and eat it too! Pre-orders are being taken right now for a June release bundle of 7 stamp sets (all for $55 – so budget friendly for about $7 a set), but you must be a subscriber in order to see them and place your order as this is not open yet to the public. I've known Korin Sutherland, the owner of Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps, for a few years now and she's just such a wonderful Christian lady who really loves the Lord and an inspiration to me. I firmly believe in supporting the body of Christ and encourage you to do the same.

Here is the card that I would like to share with you for this challenge. I hope that you like it and may the Lord richly bless your day. It's going to be 90 here and I can't wait to get into my pool! God bless!

Today's Treasure: Matthew 1:1-17. These verses depict the genealogy of Jesus. Some of the names are very recognizable to us and others aren't. I'll pick one, Rahab, and you can read about her story in Joshua 2. Rahab was a prostitute who decided to follow Christ and her faith and obedience to the Lord earned her a place in the lineage of Jesus. It's almost absurd to think that the Savior could come from that type of background, but this shows you what Jesus can do for anybody once they choose him over a life of sin. He redeems you and makes you as white as snow. If he can and will do that for a prostitute, he can and will do that for you too. Will you let him?
