Handmade Holidays Card #3 Santa’s Bag

newcbdholidays16

Hello there again and welcome to Card #3 of my Handmade Holidays 2016!

I have a lot of cards made for this series that I’m sure you will enjoy. My biggest problem is finding the time to blog, but most of all, compiling the tremendous supply lists, like Copic markers. This is really a pain, but it must be done. If you see a product that you are interested in, you can click right on the picture and it will take you to one of my affiliate stores to purchase.

This adorable and fun card is just too cute with a lot of shimmer and shine. The Santa bag is from Waffle Flower crafts. I love the size of the bag and it’s really fun to color. I used my Copic markers to color a mean red. All of the fun accessories, such as the deer, presents and the rest are from Stampin’ Up! Candy Cane Christmas and Santa’s Sleigh.

My background is an emboss resist technique of Lawn Fawn Snowy Backdrops stamped onto Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper that was die-cut with MFT Blueprints 1 Die-Namics, heat set embossed with white powder and Evergreen Bough Distress Ink blended into an ombre/gradient effect really sets the scene for this card. I only used one distress ink color, starting heavy at the top and lightened up a bit towards the bottom. My card base is Stone Gray by MFT Stamps and it turned out really well. I kept the coloring simple using the same Copic markers with traditional Christmas colors.

Thank you for stopping by to visit me today and God bless. Be sure to check back later today for my Mid-Week Inspiration blog post for the Paper Craft Crew. We have a great sketch for you and the design team made some very cool cards. I’ll save all of the info for that blog post.

Have a great day!
