Global Design Project #401 | Color Challenge

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Global Design Project #401 where there is a fun color theme and I have 2 cards for you.

I added a neutral Crumb Cake and NEW, available now, One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper that coordinates with the Online Exclusives One Horse Open Sleigh Suite Collection.

I created my own splatter with our White Craft Ink Refill and Water Painters. My images are from the amazingly beautiful Textured Floral Bundle with the sentiment from Wonderful Thoughts.

Vellum, splatter, and dry embossing + a pop of Berry Burst sequins round this project out.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with my Crumb Cake card base and cut to size a piece of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP and layered that atop with Seal Adhesive.

I cut my large circle from the largest Layering Circle Die and another circle from All That Dies that I embossed with our Basics EFs. I adhered the small circle to the large circle with liquid adhesive.

I then went about stamping my flowers and stamens with Bubble Bath and Lemon Lolly inks from Textured Floral, which were then cut from their coordinating Textured Floral Dies.

The leaves were stamped in Parakeet Party ink and cut from their coordinating dies.

I stamped the sentiment from Wonderful Thoughts and cut that from its coordinating die.

For final assembly, I arranged everything on the card for placement.

The already adhered circles were adhered to the card base with liquid adhesive behind the Basic White Regular CS.

All of the flowers and leaves were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals with the stamens adhered with liquid adhesive.

Five Berry Burst Adhesive-Backed Sequins were used to embellish the card.

For my second card, I used the Cheerful Daisies Suite Collection with Wanted to Say Dies and Brightest Birthday DSP.

I cut my Bubble Bath card base to size, as well as the mat and DSP image panel; all of which the measurements are below. The mat and the DSP image panel were adhered together with Seal Adhesive.

I stamped the daisies, leaves, and stems from Cheerful Daisies onto Basic White Regular CS with Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, and Parakeet Party inks then cut the images out from their coordinating dies.

I cut the large word sentiment from Wanted To Say Dies 5x from Bubble Bath CS and stacked them using liquid adhesive. I love these large word dies and can’t get enough of them.

For final assembly, I arranged everything on the image panel to get a sense of placement and tied a length of Lemon Lolly Sheer Ribbon around the bottom third bowed at the left. I then adhered the entire panel to the card base with Tear & Tape.

The leaves and stems were adhered with liquid adhesive with the flowers adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment was adhered with liquid adhesive with Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls to embellish.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
