Creating Your Own Patterned Paper | Artistically Inked

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a card created from the Artistically Inked stamp set using the images to make my own patterned paper using some very fun colors of Lemon Lolly, Old Olive, Pool Party, Balmy Blue, Pretty Peacock, Fresh Freesia, and Highland Heather accented with our Classic Matte Dots and Balmy Blue & White Variegated Ribbon. I did a lot of stamping off on the leaves and dots for even more texture and dimension + masking to this project.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with my Gray Granite card base then cut the Basic White Regular mat and image panel to size.

I used the masking technique on the large Highland Heather flowers to tuck in the Old Olive leaves. I stamped the large flower onto a piece of our masking paper in Lemon Lolly and fussy cut the image with my Paper Snips.

I stamped the 3 large Highland Heather flowers onto Basic White Regular CS in full strength. I applied the mask over the flower as I stamped off the Old Olive leaves x1.

I then went about stamping my small flower in Lemon Lolly on the image panel in full strength. The bunched flowers were stamped in Pool Party in full strength.

I stamped the small single leaf in Pretty Peacock and Highland Heather ink stamped off once.

The cluster of dots was stamped off x1 in Old Olive, Fresh Freesia, and Highland Heather.

I stamped the largest image from Artistically Inked onto Balmy Blue CS with the sentiment atop that in Memento Tuxedo Black. I used the 2nd smallest die from Stitched Rectangles to cut this.

For final assembly, I adhered the image panel to the Basic White Regular CS with Seal Adhesive. Stampin’ Dimensionals were added to the back of the entire panel and adhered to the Gray Granite card base.

I added a strip of Tear & Tape to the back of the sentiment and weaved my ribbon behind the panel then adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, Whisper White Classic Matte Dots were applied to the center of the Pool Party cluster image flowers.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
