Hi friends. This is just a cute clean and simple card for my Clean and Simple Tuesday Series. My clean and simple challenge this month was posted last week where you can win 4 new Paper Smooches stamp sets so you might want to take a look at that and play along!

For today's card, I grabbed the adorable Shine On and Dreams Take Flight stamp sets from the Spring Parade Stamp TV Kit by Gina K. Designs and I CASEd this card since I really liked it. Her card was just too cute that I couldn't help myself. I did, however, add a few extra embellishments, used foam dots to add dimension to the image panel, and used slightly different colors using a new color medium for me of Spectrum Noir Markers, available at my new blog sponsor of Crafter's Companion, whom I'd like to welcome and thank for believing in me to sponsor my blog. I will make more of a formal introduction later this week.
I also need to master my Spectrum Noir markers too but everything is always a time issue. One of these days I'll have to pop in the video and just watch it. Since I have some time off from surgery coming up, that would be a good idea just to stamp a bunch of images before surgery and color them during recovery. I'm hoping I won't have any arm issues since some lymph nodes have to be removed.
This card is not your traditional "clean and simple" as one would think but my image is that I colored and I let the patterned paper do the rest of the work for me. I was horrified that at the very end of my image when it was completely colored, I had a pen drop! I couldn't quite clean it up with the Blender Pen and was so bummed about that, but hey, stuff like that happens to all of us 🙂
