Water-Based Markers on Rubber Stamps

Hello there! Today I’m featuring Dandelion Wishes and Botanical Bliss using water-based markers.

I went way back with this one today. I’m pretty sure coloring water-based markers atop of rubber stamps is literally the first technique to get color onto images if they’re not designed to layer and is one image. The detail that you can apply is endless. Today’s colors are Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive. The card is 4 x 4.

You never want to use alcohol-based markers on rubber or photopolymer stamps, ever. It’s much easier to color on rubber stamps than photopolymer, but it can be done. The image panel was dry embossed using that beautiful Subtles folder that gives you a crisp linen look and adhered with dimensionals. Glitter Enamel Dots were used in the center of the dandelions.

This is a darling little card in person. Thank you for stopping by for a visit today. I will see you back tomorrow for another Simple Stamping video. Have a great day and God bless.

  1. Sweet card! I love the designs in the Dandelion Wishes set! Love the textured paper too! I see in your supply list that must be the Textured Impressions embossing folder. It gives the paper a beautiful linen look!
