Translucent Florals | Lighter Than Air Suite Collection Embellishments

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a birthday card created from the Translucent Florals stamp set, coordinating die-cuts, Online Exclusives designer series paper, 2 packs of embellishments, and an ever so slight Spring sneak peek into the Lighter Than Air Suite Collection with its designer series paper and twine in Lemon Lolly.

I’m always low on birthday cards and wanted to do something outside of Christmas and dark colors. This was super easy to make and I love this color combination that was for The Global Design Project last week.

I’m going to start showing you the inside of my cards, if I remember, as I try to pull a lot of the outside elements inside and to use up paper scraps.

As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.

I started out with my Parakeet Party card base and layered on a piece of leafy Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper.

I cut the Basic White Regular image panel to size and adhered a piece of Delightful Floral DSP to the outer left and a little Lemon Lolly striped Lighter Than Air DSP next to that. I wrapped a piece of Lemon Lolly Baker’s Twine between the DSP and then stamped my sentiment from Translucent Florals at the bottom right with Calypso Coral ink.

This panel was adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The large flowers from Translucent Florals were stamped onto Basic White Regular CS in Fresh Freesia with the leaves in Pool Party and then cut from their coordinating Translucent Florals Dies.

For final assembly, I lined my images up and adhered them all with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To embellish, I scattered my butterflies and gems about the card front.

For the inside, I carried through the front of the card.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
