Watercoloring Beautiful You

Hello there! Today’s project has colored pencils and ink used to watercolor this fabulously open line art image from Beautiful You.

I’m thrilled this beautiful line art set is carrying over into its 4th year. We have many new and returning sentiment stamp sets out with the same or coordinating font that affords you countless options when creating using this stamp set.

I used a combination of colored pencils and ink for the image panel. The Pool Party ink is laid down with a fairly saturated AquaPainter painted around the image. I did not use watercolor paper for this because it was such a light wash. Watercolor pencils in Rich Razzleberry and Daffodil Delight were blended out on the image.

The card base is Pool Party with Subtles DSP on the right. A piece of Daffodil Delight embossed with Ruffled is on the left. The image panel is angled and adhered. I am definitely one to hang onto any embellishment that has an office theme and used a small gold paperclip in my stash on the image panel tied with Linen Thread. Rhinestones and a Pearlized Doily were used to accent the card, as well as a sentiment strip stamped in Rich Razzleberry with a staple accent. There’s a lot of little things on this one.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and thank you for stopping by to visit me. Have a great day and God bless.
