Taco Tuesday With Taco Fiesta

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a Taco Tuesday super cute card created from the Taco Fiesta stamp set. The Taco Fiesta stamp set has some fantastic line art that’s easy to color and fussy cut.

I’m a huge taco|Mexican food person from California, so I know what the real food is. I love to cook and make pretty much everything I eat from scratch.

Today’s project took a little bit of time coloring, fussy cutting, and making the colorful background from 1/4″ paper strips in Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Parakeet Party.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out this time by cutting my 1/4″ paper strips in Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Parakeet Party from scraps, then went about cutting the Basic White Thick CS base, Basic Black mat, and the Basic White Regular CS that I adhered the paper strips to.

You will definitely want to use our Silicone Craft Mat on your working space with liquid adhesive or you can use Tear & Tape to adhere the paper strips. I used Tear & Tape so it was easy to cut the excess off to use again.

For the images, I stamped them all onto a piece of Basic White Thick CS in Smoky Slate ink and left the images on the lid of my Stamparatus. I broke out my Stampin’ Blends and colored the avocado, lettuce, and lime with Granny Apple Green. The center of the avocado and lettuce bowl were colored in with Crumb Cake, as well as the top of the red pepper. I took the Color Lifter to the center of the bowl.

The red pepper was colored in with Real Red and so was the ruffle on the sombrero. The top of the sombrero was colored in with Pumpkin Pie.

The chips were colored in with Daffodil Delight.

After the images were colored, I put the CS back into the Stamparatus and re-stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I cut the image panel mat from Basic Black CS and the image panel from Basic White Regular.

I fussy cut all of the images out and arranged them on the image panel to find a place to stamp the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black.

For final assembly, I adhered the striped paper panel to the Basic Black CS and adhered it all to the card base with Seal Adhesive.

All of the images were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The image panel was adhered to the Basic Black CS with Seal.

The entire image panel was adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
