Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #307 Sketch with Storybook Gnomes Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #307, where we have a sketch for you and hope that you join us.

Today’s project features the darling Storybook Gnomes Suite Collection.

This sketch will allow you a lot of layers if you like to pile it on with mats, like I did with my project, or keep it clean and simple. Options are a good thing.

When I run into a creative brick wall, I always hunt up a sketch and then I’m good.

I brought in our Sale-A-Bration Rings of Love Designer Series Paper, which coordinates beautifully with this suite collection and many others that are current.

I cannot give you a measurement for the white heat embossed sentiment as I had to wing it making sure I could tuck the sentiment under the image panel just a bit, yet line up with the left margin to keep it cohesive.

The only stamping done on this card is the white heat embossed sentiment. The rest was die-cut from the suite’s designer series paper.

I started out with an A2 Poppy Parade card base. I cut a piece of Basic White CS with the another pieces of Rings of Love Designer Series Paper that I adhered together with liquid adhesive. Between the lines of the DSP, I wrapped a piece of Sahara Sand Ribbon around to cover the DSP line.

The Basic White mat and DSP were adhered to the card base with Tear & Tape.

I then went about die-cutting the mushroom house and gnome.

The sentiment was embossed onto Poppy Parade CS and heat embossed in white.

I matted up the Poppy Parade CS and Rings of Love DSP under the sentiment cut to the measurements below with liquid adhesive.

The Poppy Parade CS stitched circle and Basic White CS circle were adhered together with liquid adhesive.

For final assembly, the sentiment mat was adhered to the card base with liquid adhesive.

I adhered the gnome onto the circle die with Stampin’ Dimensionals and embellished with a few gems from the suite.

I adhered the mushroom house to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals with the gnome circle under that with the bottom half adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the top with liquid adhesive.

Lastly, I added Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and tucked it under the circle die-cut.
