Hello there y’all! Today over at Stampin’ Up! Only Challenges (SUOC218), we are doing a color challenge of Granny Apple Green, Lovely Lipstick, and Pool Party, with a bonus color of Mango Melody and neutrals. I’m back with more alcohol marker coloring for my image. I will have the measurements below for my panels.
I used the always versatile Buffalo Check background stamped with Versamark for the Pool Party card base, Galvanized Metallic Paper dry embossed with Tin Tile, and Thick Whisper White for the image from Country Home (carryover from Holiday Catalog) that I colored in with our challenge colors adding Crumb Cake for the willows and Smoky Slate for the pitcher. The loopy knotted twine tied across the top of the card is from the April 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit. This is a thicker twine that ties beautifully to add some substance and weight to this project. Again, I used Basic Gray ink to put down the images, leaving the images in the Stamparatus to re-stamp after coloring.
I added a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to the back of a piece of vellum paper, applied the Embossing Buddy, stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray, sprinkled Clear Embossing Powder, then heat set. You do not see the adhesive behind the vellum, which can be a little tricky at times. I used Part of My Story for my outside sentiment. I love this set with such encouraging and heartfelt sentiments.
