SUOC 294: Valentine’s Day

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for SUO Challenge 294, where our theme is Valentine’s Day, and we hope that you join us. Be sure to head over to the challenge site for additional inspiration from the Design Team.

I made this card with our Sweet Talk Suite Collection with a more masculine feel to it with simple stamping and die-cutting. I love the Playful Alphabet Dies that allow you to customize any and everything + has several standalone dies, such as punctuation and hashtags.

My colors are Magenta Madness, Calypso Coral, and Balmy Blue.

This was super easy to make and was less than 10 minutes from inception to finish.

I started out with a top-folding A2 Basic Black card base and layered on a piece of Balmy Blue DSP from the Subtles 6 x 6 DSP pack.

I then cut the Basic Black CS for the sentiment and die-cut the Stitched So Sweetly die for the image panel.

I lined up the XO on a B Block, inked up with Balmy Blue, stamped off once, and then stamped randomly onto the image panel 3x.

The hearts were stamped in Magenta Madness and Calypso Coral then cut with their coordinating dies. I added Black Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the hearts.

For the sentiment panel, I placed the Playful Alphabet Dies 1/2″ above the bottom of the Basic Black CS and ran it through our Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, making sure to save the inside of the ‘O’ to inlay in the center.

I lined up the image panel onto the sentiment panel where I wanted to lined it up, applied liquid adhesive to the bottom of the image panel, and adhered it to the top of the sentiment panel. This entire panel was adhered with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

So simple!

For the inside, I used a DSP scrap at the bottom of the Basic White mat, die-cut YOU from Basic Black CS, both of which were adhered with liquid adhesive.
