Simple Stamping on Saturday with Love of Leaves Bundle

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a simple stamping on Saturday with the Love of Leaves Bundle and the amazing Hostess Pattern Party Designer Series Paper.

This bundle was designed as autumn/fall; however, you can change the colors to a fresh whimsy Spring or any season, and use all year!

Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, and Fresh Freesia change the entire presentation; along with the panel of DSP, and mixing my neutrals, lend balance, interest, and attractiveness to this clean and simple project.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

GO CHIEFS! I had to throw that in. Last week’s game was insanely intense and the most riveting football game I’ve ever seen. Since I live in the Kansas City suburb of Lee’s Summit, the vibe here has been unbelievably fun. The local NFL merchandise is hilarious with T-shirts and hoodies saying, “I Bel13ve,” and then there’s the black Grim Reaper apparel. The fireworks were going off like 4th of July.

This fabulous Pattern Party Hostess Designer Series Paper is the backdrop of this project and it’s a very busy pattern. To compliment and quiet it down, I chose solid images on the larger side that are stamped in 1 color, as it will automatically draw your focal point to the color, particularly if you use lighter, contrasting colors.

The Stitched Leaves Dies added the line dot detail to the leaves. Additionally, I mixed my neutrals of Basic White CS and Very Vanilla Twine, adding even more detailed interest to the card. This took me maybe 10-15 minutes to complete and would be a great class, club or retreat card. Change the sentiment for even more creative opportunities.

I started out with a top-folding A2 Basic White Thick card base and layered on a piece of DSP with Seal. I wrapped the Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine around the card base twice that I knotted at the left.

I stamped 3 of the leaves from the Love of Leaves Bundle onto Basic White Regular CS in Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, and Fresh Freesia.

I die-cut the images out and impressed the inside at the same time with the line dot detail. The way these dies are designed, you can do that with one pass through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

I chose my sentiment first, that was stamped onto Basic White Regular CS with Memento Tuxedo Black, and then found a die-cut that would frame the sentiment from my stash, which was in the Tasteful Labels Dies.

The sentiment label and images were adhered with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
