Now, onto my card that I made using Santa’s Sleigh and Santa’s Sleigh Thinlits Dies. This bundle was carried over from last year and I’m glad I held onto it. Bundles that carryover become unbundled and you lose the bundle price of an additional 10% off. I never do a purge until I know what’s being retired and even then, I selectively purge. I generally keep my bundles for a few years. I’ve seen them come back before, as with Santa’s Sleigh, so if you see a bundle you love, grab it and the discount.

This is the longest blog post ever and I’ve never done so much linking. So, I’m going to wrap this up. I think my card speaks for itself. It was very easy and fun to make. I love the new Boxwood Wreaths. They are a new favorite of mine.

I think I’ll show you a few closeup shots. I used the above-mentioned bundle with my Layering Circles Framelits – all links are listed below – to die-cut my shaker and stamped the tree in Smoky Slate, stamped off once. I wanted a lighter intensity of color on my Be Merry Designer Series Paper, but still wanted the trees visible within the shaker window. Our Foam Adhesive Strips are the absolute best to make shaker cards. Even those who are not Stampin’ Up! crafters are raving about how great these strips are for shaker cards. They are that popular. I loaded up my shaker window with a lot of stuff, including a bit of “contraband” from Lucy’s Little Things. Seriously, who can resist her unique and beautiful sequin mixes? I have silver reindeer and snowflakes inside my shaker with other silver and clear sequins, along with various hues of green as above.

This is the shaker card standing up where you can see the trees I stamped. I added 3 silver Metallic Shapes stars. I needed a little something to fill the void around the shaker window without taking away from the shaker window, so these stars worked out perfectly. I’m still debating on whether or not to stamp and die-cut a tiny little bow in Real Red to attach to the Boxwood Wreath at the bottom that’s hanging around the reindeer neck to add a pop of color that will instantly draw your eye to it, but it would be first rather than my focal shaker. Ya know, sometimes with these decisions, the struggle is real. You will take 3 minutes to stamp and die-cut the bow and another day to debate whether you like it or not as it sits on top of your card without adhesive until you make your mind up. A lighter shade of green might look nice. What do you think?

Thank you so very much for stopping by to visit me today and sticking out this rather lengthy post out with me. I hope that you have a fabulous holiday weekend. Be safe and God bless.
