Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a coffee-themed project from Rise & Shine.
Rise & Shine is a new Sale-A-Bration set that will be available to you on March 4, 2020, and coordinates perfectly with the Cup of Cheer Dies from the Holiday 2019 Catalog that carried over. I really mixed up this project with several products from the current line. I actually prefer to create this way and will aim to keep what I present to you balanced with focused product suites and pulling together the stash.
There’s a little bit of everything on this card from punches, die-cuts, 2 different DSP, embellishments, and embossing, with some great dimension and interest.
The die-cut and embossed coffee cups are extremely detailed. For the top cup, this was created with Petal Pink and Lovely Lipstick CS. I did a partial die-cut technique using the hearts from Stitched Be Mine and stamped one of the small butterflies onto it with Delicata Golden Glitz Ink. I then adhered this to the Lovely Lipstick CS.
For the bottom cup, this was created with Lovely Lipstick and Whisper White CS. I die-cut the rose in from Stitched Be Mine and dry embossed it with the Parisian Flourish 3D EF. I then adhered this to the Whisper White CS. Two Old Olive sprigs were die-cut from Cup of Cheer and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The center was embellished with a Frosted Epoxy Droplet.
