Easy Faux Window Card + Rise & Shine/Cup of Cheer Dies

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for an easy faux window card with Rise & Shine + Cup of Cheer Dies.

For today’s Rise & Shine + Cup of Cheer Dies project, I used THIS CARD as my inspiration, that I designed a few months ago, CASE’d (copy and share everything) myself, and simply brought the sentiment to the top, rather than in the middle. Once again, I pulled in other current products and shopped my stash to enhance this card rather than militantly adhere to a product suite.

To create the faux window, I centered a Layered Circle die towards the top third of the DSP, placed the die-cut piece on top of the card base in the Stamparatus, placed the sentiment stamp, lifted it up with the Stamparatus door, removed the DSP, then impressed the sentiment. The pen splatters were added after the sentiment.

I used a piece of DSP from Bird Ballad, which I have not featured yet, and will be upcoming soon, as the main panel on the front of the card on Stampin’ Dimensionals. Bermuda Bay was used to stamp the solid coffee cup image, which is in the Bird Ballad product suite, but not in the DSP, to offset the coffee cup Pool Party overlay from Cup of Cheer Dies. A Daffodil Delight heart from Stitched Be Mine was used to embellish the coffee cup with 2 Old Olive punched Sprigs attached at the left bottom. I tied a long bow with Linen Thread to attach above the Sprigs. The large clear sequins are from a Paper Pumpkin Kit. The black splatters are from a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker that I flicked on using the cap of the marker.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit. I hope to see you back tomorrow for our weekly video where I will be featuring this stamp set again. Have a great day and God bless.
