Product Review Video | Darice Foam Sheets Value Pack

Hello there friends and I hope you are having a great day so far.

I have a quick video to share with you about a product that I’ve found on the internet. Many crafters use foam sheets to put behind their card stock layers for even dimension and to ensure that the card arrives to the intended recipient not all squished up or damaged.

I didn’t like the look of white foam behind a dark color of card stock at all. I think it looks bad from the side and kills the entire presentation. I went hunting on Amazon and found this pack of 40 pieces of 6 x 9 colored foam. There are much larger packs too of the same brand, same size, but more colors, and I will link them all for you below!

The best part? The $5 price tag. This pack of foam sheets will last you for a while. If you are an Amazon Prime Member, this is an add-on item – at least the pack that I chose is – with free shipping. It doesn’t get much more cost effective than that.

If you would like to pick up a foam pack or two, I’ve generated a list for you below.

I also have 2-3 more Valentine’s Day projects to share with you. My philosophy is simple: I took the time to make it, like the way it turned out, does not matter what time of year it is, I’m posting it.

I have a fun chicken card coming up and a few other projects. I’ve edited a few, but have not uploaded or have written a blog post yet. I’m very good about catching up with that on the weekends. There’s just a lot going on right now. Believe it or not, my finger, the one with stitches, is actually holding me up more than I expected – until I finally got my manicure today and had to tell Lynn not to squeeze my finger so tight. I could not have won there. I could have received my manicure on Saturday as I had planned, but I’m glad that I didn’t or else there would be blood on the new manicure, much like the old one. I had to run errands today, so I’m glad that I waited to get the mani-pedi. Some people think that this is a luxury. I don’t think so. I’ve been getting my nails done for well over a decade and I firmly believe that a pedicure, especially in the summer, is a personal hygiene issue. It’s just something that must be done. In the 8-month summers we have where I live in California, I do not wear shoes and hate wearing shoes, but a lot of dirt gets in places where it should not go, which causes ingrown toenails, hard and callused feet, and oh does the list go on. Get your pedicures done! Done with yet another public service message 🙂

I’m glad that I cut my pinky finger between my knuckles so I can bend my finger a little bit, but oh wow it so hurts! You just do not think about how much a seemingly harmless finger cut can mess up your schedule. I had everything planned so that all Valentine everything would have been posted with videos up  and today being the last day of my series. You’re stuck until the end of the week, but think anniversary cards, or for those of you who are fortunate to have a man that really loves you, I have a lot of Valentine’s Day cards that you can use for your anniversary too. Personally, right now, I think that Valentine’s Day is the the most ridiculous “holiday” ever in the history of mankind.  February 14 is a day. That’s it. Love should be every day, not one day a year. Maybe next year. You never know; although I’ve been telling myself that since I was 24 – I’m on 31 years now folks. Not good. Come to think of it, I’ve been telling myself “maybe next year,” since I was 24. That’s way too long to be talking yourself out of normal. No more and I’m so done and everything has been way too long. Everything from this time on next year, if not sooner, with the latter most likely coming to fruition first, I am so out of California. I’m feeling very confident and so very good about my decision to leave. There is nothing for me here and when that happens in your life, it’s time to go and start all over again, and that’s exactly what I intend on doing and I will achieve my personal goals too. My father would be very proud of the strong woman that he raised me to be and I’m so grateful that he raised me to be strong, especially now, because even though I didn’t want to hear his advice at 21, I wasn’t foolish enough to completely shut down on him and shut him up with numerous lame, pathetic and sorry excuses. I filed it all away for when I would need it and over the past 4 years, I’ve needed it.

Do you keep a journal? It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. Mine are strictly functional with a few fun items here and there, but I have YEARS of journals since I was 13 – wow, that’s 40 years, whoa, and I can look back and see what I thought about something that daddy told me 40 years ago, 30, 20, 10, 5 and that’s just about it since July 29 will be 4 years that daddy has been with the Lord. I love my journals.
