A Primitive Santa for The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge

Good morning everybody. I hope that your weekend is off to a good start. I know my weekend is going to be awesome!! I'm in California right now! Whoo hoo! It's my 30th high school reunion. Well, not really. I graduated in 1981, but the majority of my friends graduated in 1980, so I'm crashing theirs. Even though I'm pre-posting this, I've been looking forward to this trip for months now and needed it so bad. I haven't been home home in years. New York is home, but California is home home. Make sense? Seeing my friends that I grew up with is going to be amazing. Again, I'm pre-posting this, so I've already seen them and will be seeing more tonight at our official high school reunion. Enough about that and I'll Facebook all about it daily.

Today is The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge and Korin's sketch is fabulous. She always challenges me to think outside of my little box and this card definitely challenged me, but I loved it. I used Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps Primitive Santa digi stamp. It's perfect with my designer paper and fun to color. There's lots of ways to dress up this guy. We'd love to see what you can do with this wonderful sketch and would also like you to share it with us. If you upload your sketch to an online gallery, please use keyword SSS73.

Before I show you the sketch and my card, please don't forget to say a prayer for the victims of 9-1-1 today, which is the 9th "anniversary" of this tragic and horrific  Islamic attack on our country. America woke up for about 10 seconds then went right back into complacency, unfortunately. How dare Muslims even think to build a mosque 2 blocks from Ground Zero. Islam is now demanding their own state in America! Wake up people and mark my words: Islam is the religious Borg. America is a Christian nation and was founded upon Christian principles: truth, whether one likes it or not. Read the Constitution. We need to take back our country. You've heard America is a great melting pot, it's not anymore. A melting pot is where a lot of different ingredients come together to compliment each other sending a sweet aroma through the nation, not groups demanding special rights or subjecting us to their laws while breaking our laws and then call it racial profiling or religious discrimination when they do break our law. I'm sickened and you should be too. Do something. America can no longer turn her back on Jesus Christ. September 11 was a wake-up call. Too bad we hit the snooze button instead.

TODAY'S TREASURE: 2 Chronicles 7:14. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Wow. This is truth that you can count on from the Almighty Creator. Sorry this post was a little all over the place from a high school reunion, to Islam's attack on America, to a sketch.
