Perennial Postage + Textured Floral

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a really easy card created from the Perennial Postage Bundle from the Spring Catalog and Stitched Greenery with the Textured Floral Bundle in the Annual Catalog.

The Perennial Postage Dies were featured in Tuesday’s card earlier this week.

The gems are from December 2023 Paper Pumpkin that I depleted with the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon that is now what I call a retired staple.

The Basic White Regular CS embossed with the Stitched Greenery Die adds fantastic texture that grounds the stark white against the Basic Black CS base that makes this subtly bold.

I’ve been on a clean and simple kick lately for a little reset. I schedule these posts in advance and right now, there’s this nasty polar vortex going on where everything is ice and snow with more ice and snow,  -9 out with 45 mph winds, and power substations are popping off in the background. The dog and I are hibernating. I’m completely prepared to defrost in my car with the heat settings on high and a remote start. My already outrageous water bill is going to skyrocket after leaving the faucets dripping for days.

As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.

I started out with a Basic Black CS base and cut a piece of Basic White Regular CS that I ran through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with my very underused Stitched Greenery Die. I cut another piece of Basic White Regular CS out of a square Perennial Postage Die.

I stamped the Fresh Freesia flowers and Granny Apple Green leaves from the Textured Floral Bundle that were cut from their coordinating dies.

I laid out all of my pieces to determine where to stamp the sentiment from Perennial Postage in Memento Tuxedo Black directly onto the Stitched Greenery panel.

For final assembly, I wrapped the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around the Stitched Greenery panel x2 and adhered this to the back with Scotch Tape. Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to adhere this panel to the Basic Black CS base.

The postage square die was adhered to the left with Stampin’ Dimensionals, as were the stamped images atop of the postage die.

Two lengths of Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon were tied into a double bow around the wrapped ribbon.

Lastly, Pool Party gems from last month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit were used to embellish.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
