New 2024-2026 In Colors | Creating Your Custom Background | Online Exclusives

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for an easy project featuring 3 of our new In Colors for 2024-2026.

I apologize for not having a video for you today. I promise to have the another fun fold video as shown during last week’s video.

Our new In Colors are delicious and also brought back Pretty In Pink from about a decade ago.

From L to R: Pretty In Pink, Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock, Petunia Pop, and Summer Splash, all of which fit beautifully into the Color Theory Wheel below.

These are beautiful tropical colors that I can’t wait to fully unpack as the seasons change.

I’m using 3 different stamp sets today of Comforting Thoughts and Queen Bee from our Online Exclusive and Textured Floral from the Annual Catalog, that is carrying over to 2024-2025.

Peach Pie, Summer Splash, and Petunia Pop are featured today.

Be sure to download this amazing Color Wheel to see how the new In Colors work with our 4 color families. I organize everything color starting with Cherry Cobbler work my way around the wheel.

For today’s card, I stamped a custom patterns to create my own designer series paper.

As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.

I started out with an A2 top-folding Pecan Pie card base and cut my Very Vanilla and Petunia Pop CS to size. The Petunia Pop CS was embossed with one of our Online Exclusives Basics Embossing Folders and adhered to the Very Vanilla CS with liquid adhesive.

I cut a piece of Very Vanilla CS to 3 x 4 and started stamping my CS for my custom pattern.

The flower and leaves are from Textured Floral and were stamped in Summer Splash and Petunia Pop, as were the cluster of dots stamped in Peach Pie.

I used one of the new Peach Pie 6 x 6 DSP to line the envelope with above.

The print on the image panel was stamped off several times from Pecan Pie ink and is from Queen Bee.

This was all stamped at random. Cluster images are great for filling in the blanks.

I cut my stamped image panel into strips of 1 x 4.

The sentiment was stamped from Comforting Thoughts onto Very Vanilla CS with Pecan Pie ink and cut to size.

For final assembly, the embossed panel was adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The panels were adhered atop of the embossed panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a piece of Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine into a bow and secured this to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot.

I tore a piece of Gold Shimmer Vellum that was tucked under the sentiment with a little adhesive then to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, a trio of Brushed Brass Butterflies were used to embellish.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
