Hello there friends and welcome to this week's Mid-Week Inspiration for the Paper Craft Crew! Today I'm featuring a brand new stamp set and designer series paper from the new Stampin' Up! Spring 2016 Occasions Catalog. The brand new products are fabulous and you are going to love them! There are many returning favorites and a plethora of awesome new products that are available for purchase on January 5, 2016. Sale-A-Bration, the biggest event of the year, also starts on January 5, and there are even more amazing products in that brochure as well. My card showcases the new Birthday Blooms stamp set and Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper. I've made a clean and simple card using a partial die-cutting technique of sorts to alter a die from the Chalk Talk die collection for my sentiment.
The new Spring catalog is pretty birthday heavy with some Valentine's Day products in there, and certainly enough for you to create some very fun projects. I'm not big on Valentine's Day personally and think Cupid needs to be shot with one of his own arrows. He hasn't done me any favors. I tend to shy away from masculine cards, although they've just come out of me lately for some reason. You definitely will not be seeing very many Valentine's Day cards from me or Mother's/Father's Day cards either. I don't have anybody to give them too, so I just avoid it all the way around. My cousin always has a girls night for all holidays, including Valentine's Day, and that's always fun. We have a gift exchange and I always take handmade items for my gifts. It's free and unique for the recipient.
