Let Your Dreams Take Flight

Good morning and a happy Monday to you! Today we have another fabulous sketch at the Clean and Simple Stamping Blog (Fall to Layout) Challenge 177 (FTL177). I love being on this design team. I think last week I mentioned that before I became a design team member, this sketch blog was my first stop. Now that I'm designing for them, it's even more fun. Natasha comes up with some wicked cool clean and simple sketches. You can still have dimension, texture, and various embellishments on a clean and simple card if they're placed right. On my card, I have a central focus of my die-cut frame, a frame inside of that, and my main image on top of that. I tied my sentiment and image together with a swirly line when the card was completed – big mistake on my part – as I should have done it before while it was all lying flat before I added my dimension to it. My Ripe Avocado ink did not pick up in 2 places so I fudged it using the fine point of a Stampin' Up! Old Olive marker. I do love my color combination and overall concept of the card. I had to balance out the Autumn Rose color so I stamped a little splotch at the top right corner and one word of my sentiment which gave me my triangle; sort of like a kitchen design.

I hope that you enjoy this card and that you are inspired by it. Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and God bless you!
