Joy of Christmas Suite Collection | So Sincere | Sketched Plaid

Hello there and Happy Thanksgiving to you! I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas and 2024.

Thank you for joining me today for a holiday-ish card created from the Joy of Christmas Suite Collection, So Sincere stamp set, and Sketched Plaid for the background stamped onto designer series paper to create an entirely new and customized pattern. So often we forget that we can color, stamp and emboss designer series paper. Despite using Bubble Bath, this would still be a great masculine card. Give it a try!

As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.

I started out with my A2 top-folding Basic White Thick CS base. I then took a piece of Bubble Bath 6 x 6 DSP and stamped the Sketched Plaid image onto the DSP at an angle with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I die-cut this panel from the 2nd largest Stitched Rectangle Die and used a Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker to color in the top left and bottom right of the DSP. This panel was adhered to the card base with Seal Adhesive.

I die-cut my holiday greenery from Christmas Classic Dies and Joy of Noel Dies using Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, and Basic White Regular CS.

I stamped the sentiment from So Sincere with Versamark ink onto Basic Black CS, heat embossed with white powder, and punched with a 1-1/2″ Circle punch.

One large and one small stitched hearts were cut from Give It a Whirl Dies out of Bubble Bath CS. I stamped a tiny image from Christmas Classics stamp set at the right top of the large heart with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

For final assembly, all of the greenery was arranged and adhered to the card with liquid adhesive. The sentiment was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals, as were the Bubble Bath hearts.

I colored one large and 4 small Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels with a Dark Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blend Marker and adhered to embellish.
