Introducing Petal Palette & Lots of Lavender + November Customer Thank You Cards

Hello there! I have my November Thank You cards out to my customers with a bonus card.

I wanted to use products from the new 2018 Occasions Catalog (Petal Palette Bundle) and send a bonus card from 2018 Sale-A-Bration (Lots of Lavender). I love that there are so many bundles with die-cuts. The beauty of bundles is that it’s an entire product suite where everything coordinates from the stamp set down to the smallest of embellishments and they just keep getting more amazing! The coordinating Petal Passion Designer Series Paper is fantastic. It’s all black and white with several sheets that you can use your coloring mediums on AND die-cut them out with the coordinating dies. I love it when my die matches up with my DSP. Stampin’ Up! specifically designs the DSP so you can have the option of using the DSP image on your project or the stamp and pulls off double duty by easily maximizing your use of product.

My sentiment is stamped onto Whisper White cardstock and notice the new die-cut shape? That also is part of the Petal Palette Bundle of the Petals & More Thinlits Dies. There are so many dies outside of the stamp images that you can use to accent your cards or even make a stencil out of. The Petal Pair Textures Embossing Folders and Petal Passion Embellishments with Whisper White 1/4″ Organza Ribbon round out the Petal Passion Suite beautifully.

I used my Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen to color in my images. A word of advice, DO NOT USE a Wink of Stella Pen over colored pencil images. They do not play well together at all and you will end up with a hot, ugly mess…and we all know how I found this out. I wanted some sparkle on the card to tie in the Glitter Enamel Dots so I made my own with Perfect Pearls and water, gave the DSP and quick spray and adhered it to my card base covering the front.

I love how the pattern in the DSP really makes this a striking card allowing the colored image to remain the focal point, which is popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For my bonus card, the Lots of Lavender Sale-A-Bration set is fantastic. I was very excited to see the 2018 selection of free products with a qualifying order. This 2-3 layering stamp set is expected to be one of the most popular SAB stamp sets. It’s so easy to use. I stamped the lavender with Wisteria Wonder and used my Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Write Marker to color in random sprigs.

You’re going to love these new catalogs and the products inside. The Display Boards at OnStage were outstanding. It’s always fun to see in person the actual product pictures in the catalogs. I have so much more to share with you, including some Christmas projects. I haven’t been on top of anything lately and have some catching up to do very fast.

I hope that you enjoyed today’s projects. Thank you so very much for stopping by to visit me today. Have a great day and God bless.
