Handmade Holidays with Whimsy & Wonder Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for the first project out of 12 for my 2021 Handmade Holidays Series. I created our card today from the fabulous Whimsy & Wonder Suite Collection. I’m all about non-traditional colors and cards, and this suite collection definitely meets the creative criteria for this project, along with others that I plan on featuring during my Handmade Holiday Series.

I have some great projects to share with you for the Christmas creating season and possibly a few videos; for cards, bags, tags, packaging, and gift ideas.

I started out with an A2 landscape card base in Misty Moonlight and layered on a piece of DSP from Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper with Seal.

The sentiment was stamped with Misty Moonlight at the bottom right. This card has the sentiments stamped inside and out only. The rest of the design was created with the DSP and coordinating dies.

I cut my large scallop circle from Misty Moonlight and large circle from Basic White Regular. I adhered the circle to the scalloped circle with liquid adhesive. I die-cut both sizes of the stand-alone tree die from various scraps of DSP in the suite collection that were adhered to the circle with liquid adhesive. I stamped the sentiment at the top of the circle in Misty Moonlight. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the image panel to adhere to the card base AFTER I laid down the ribbon.

This was an easy card to make with the texture and dimension that I love.

I stamped 2 more sentiments on the inside with Misty Moonlight ink and adhered 3 more trees.
