Die-cutting with Birds & Branches

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a die-cut card with the Birds & Branches Bundle.

I haven’t even started to really experiment with this bundle. I have a ton of seasonal ideas that I will be sharing with you in the near future. I used autumn-ish colors in this card pulled out of the Whale of a Time DSP of Calypso Coral and Granny Apple Green. There are so many color and design options for this project. Washed out Pool Party could be the overlay image panel embossed with any of our EFs. You can use a Crumb Cake embossed with the Pinewood Plank EF to mimic a tree, with the greenery sponged in Pear Pizzazz.

I started out with a Basic Gray card base and cut a piece of Regular Whisper White to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2. I used the circular die-cut from Birds & More and cut it about 1-3/4″ up from the bottom in the middle. I ran the birds through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with Pumpkin Pie CS. The Beautiful Autumn sentiment strip in Basic Black is 3/8″ at the bottom. The Granny Apple Green DSP from Whale of a Time is 1/4 x 5-1/2. The Calypso Coral heart was punched out from the Dog punch in same DSP with the same pattern as the right side strip.

The image panel was adhered with Foam Adhesive Strips. The sentiment and right side strip was adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Two Black Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals were stacked behind the head of each bird and adhered. For the heart, only 1 was applied to the back and adhered. For the Pinewood Plank EF CS behind the image panel, I cut a 3-1/4 square of Basic Gray and adhered it to the card base with liquid adhesive.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.
