Creating Your Own Patterned Paper | Shimmery White CS Secrets | True Beauty Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for an easy technique that we all seem to put on the back burner of creating your own patterned paper. This is such a cost-effective way to uniquely customize your projects mixing and matching whatever your heart desires.

I used our Shimmery White CS rather than Basic White CS because the Shimmery White tolerates water better without pilling. Another technique to get the watercolor look was misting up an DistINKtive image and stamping off for the color variation.

I’m using Happy Labels, Quiet Meadow, and True Beauty stamp sets today with an Online Exclusives Embossing Folder, along with some fun, Spring colors.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with my Crumb Cake card base and cut the Shimmery White CS mat and embossed Flirty Flamingo CS to size.

The mat and Flirty Flamingo CS were adhered together with liquid adhesive and then to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the image panel, I cut a piece of Shimmery White CS to 3 x 4. I used a Grid Sheet to practice stamping off my images to get a visual and how I wanted it to look on the image panel. This is a step you have to wing for your own personal taste.

I inked up the floral images and leaves from the True Beauty stamp set in Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive. I used a spritzer to mist up the images to stamp onto the Shimmery White CS.

The Daffodil Delight splatters and Early Espresso print are from the Quiet Meadow stamp set.

The paper was not wet, but I used my Heat Tool on low to set the ink real fast. I then cut the panels into 1 x 3 strips.

The sentiment from Happy Labels was stamped onto Shimmery White CS in Early Espresso ink and cut to size.

I took a scrap of Distressed Gold Paper, tore the edges, and then adhered it up under the sentiment with Tear & Tape.

For final assembly, I adhered the image panels to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a bow with our Whisper White Baker’s Twine and adhered this to the card with a Mini Glue Dot between the 2nd and 3rd panels.

The sentiment was adhered to the image panels with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

An Iridescent Pearl was placed on the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
