SUOC #351 | Celebrate the Mom’s

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for SUO Challenges #351 where our theme is to celebrate Mother’s Day and hope that you join us.

I used a lot of new product on today’s card from Online Exclusives and Frames & Flowers Specialty Designer Series Paper that is literally all about frames and flowers, which is used for the ephemera image + new Petal Pink Ribbon.

This one took no time at all with a basic sketch. My color focus is on varying shades of Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green, and Lost Lagoon.

As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.

I started out with a landscape A2 Lost Lagoon card base. I cut another piece of Lost Lagoon CS that was embossed with one of the 3D Basics Embossing Folders.

I pulled in the Flowers & Frames Specialty DSP and used a frame for the DSP at the bottom then cut another piece of DSP from one of the Basic Borders Dies. I adhered the DSP to the Lost Lagoon CS embossed panel with liquid adhesive.

I tied a piece of Petal Pink Diagonal Trim around where the DSP met and tied a bow to the left.

I had a scrap piece of our Vellum Basics DSP that I had already cut into a circle and used that to back the floral ephemera image.

The sentiment from Flower Cart was stamped onto a piece of Basic White Regular CS and cut to size.

For final assembly, the embossed panel was adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals, as was everything else that was adhered to the image panel.

Lastly, Iridescent Foil Gems were used to embellish.
