Coming Up Roses

Color 20 strip

Hello there friends! I meant to enter this card into the My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge last week combined with the Color Challenge above, but didn't quite make it in time, which is nothing new. However, the color challenge ends in 13 days, so I am going to enter this card. It was a hard color challenge for me but I think I came up with something nice. I did cheat just a little bit and used Grape Jelly felt for my rolled rose on the outside of the card and Banana Split for the rolled rose on the inside of the card – but, it was out of necessity since MFT doesn't have the above colors in felt and I liked the way my felt roses turned out better than my paper rolled roses.

I have a few more projects to share with you that I will post tomorrow of the last two weeks sketch challenges for my design team work at the Paper Craft Crew. I made a really cute journal for my cousin. I also have a short, yes, short, 6 minutes short, video that shows you how to make a Wink of Stella pen using Stampin' Up! products since they do not carry one. It's very simple and the color possibilities are endless.

I also have my grandson's April card ready too. It's a fun fold and totally out of the box for me. I can't believe he will be one year old in a few short weeks! He sure is one handsome little guy! His first birthday card will be extra special!

Thank you so very much for stopping by to visit me today and make today count. Be kind. Blessings to you!
