SPARKS BADGE

Hi friends. Today I have quite the multitasking blog post for you; Clean & Simple on Thursday will have to do this time around. Do you think I covered enough? First, I am making this card for my design team work at the Clean & Simple Stamping Blog, Fall to Layout (FTL270). Second, Crafter's Companion is having an awesome sale on their brand new Second Generation Spectrum Noir Markers that you don't want to miss and the new Everyday Sentimental stamps (LOVE), many of which are my favorites, like Sheena Douglas. Two of my favorite online stores are Crafter's Companion and eclectic Paperie. I love their products, stand behind the products, and especially the company. I've always received excellent customer service that was very prompt and friendly. Third, I'm playing along in the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge from an inspiration picture.

I talk about Spectrum Noir markers a lot and show you a lot of little things about them that I know you've been waiting for in a marker – Spectrum Noir fulfills everything for you!

You are going to have to excuse my pictures. They are iPhone pictures. My camera cord died, like wires showing and shocking me died. My dad has this awesome camera but it's way too much camera for me. I'm going to take it to Best Buy and see if they have a replacement cord I can get and maybe a little lesson. My camera is about 6 years old but it works for me. Unfortunately, they do not make replacement cords. Once I do all of this and can get some decent pictures, I will replace them here on the blog because they really do look awful. I will try to replace the pictures as soon as I can. You will see some decent pictures in the video. Maybe I can figure out my dad's awesome camera tonight 🙂 Update! I was able to find a cord for my camera on eBay for $2.99 with free shipping and for my dad's camera too! Now I just have to find a How-To Manual, which I'm sure will be online and I'm in business! Another update! I just found a cord and manual on eBay for $4.99 with free shipping. Yay! I hope to get them early next week. I emailed the lady who sold my camera's cord and begged her to get it in the mail ASAP and she's putting it in the mail for me today Priority. Whew!

Another thing I have to figure out is why my You Tube Channel shows that I only have 16 videos and I know I have at least over 100. Some of them are private due to my online card classes, but I know I had over 100 before that. Speaking of my online card classes, I will have the schedule up for those within the next few weeks. I'm pretty excited with my new class themes and a few special guests that will do the classes for me with guest designers and myself chiming in. 2014 is going to be a great year! I'm going to mix it up a bit with kits and classes. I am going to chill a bit for December to plan and get my kits ready so they can fly out the door in January for you. Everything will be subscription-based and I also have some more ideas up my sleeve as well to mix it all up a bit so every month is a new and fun surprise. I will have more info on this before the month is out so that you can start in January. I will tell you that January will be a card kit due to the Spring Catalog being launched. There's a lot of fun products and some returning favs in this catalog. I really LOVE it. I haven't showed you anything yet from that catalog, although I can per Stampin' Up! policy, so look for some samples next week. I will also be offering product shares. I will write up a post and a dedicated page for what I will be doing next year so be sure to come back for the information.

Tomorrow I'm going to have a Product Review for you that I know you will enjoy.

Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today and God bless you!

Here is today's video (and awful pictures). Please note as above, that there is a Spectrum Noir Marker mini tutorial in there to introduce you to these fabulous markers hence making the video about a half hour. I don't think that you will get bored. You will see my shadow a little as I stamp in this video, but that's how it rolls sometimes. I didn't make it to the store today since I was concentrating on the house but I do have tomorrow set aside, super early in the morning to avoid the Christmas crowds, to get my video craft table and then I need to put it together — unless I call my friend who lives up the road to put it together for me. If I give him bacon and Corona, he should be okay. Whatever works, right?

One more thing, I could not find any decent, long Christmas music for you to listen to. However, I did find a weird soundtrack 🙂
