Botanical Gardens Series, Part 3, White Wedding Card

Hello there! I've been in electronic and software hell this week. If it's not one thing, it's another and it's frustrating. I'm just so over this.

Today's card is a first time in the history of forever for me, I made a wedding card. A completely white wedding card. And I actually planned it. I really wanted to feature the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack, which is only available until March 31. There are so many cool things you can do with vellum and it's so different than regular card stock that it just adds a little something special to everything you make.

As you will see in the video, I started out the hard way applying the Ranger Multi-Matte Medium to the back of the  vellum. You can apply it any way that you want because there are a lot of ways. I just wanted mine to stick down really well since it's a focal panel, which is different than an accentuating panel. Plus, with the way that I adhered it, you can really see the flowers up against the white linen card stock that I used which adds extra dimension. With this stack of vellum, it's not going to be a struggle to adhere due to the patterns. I used the wrong verbiage in the video of "multi medium" rather than what I meant to say of "Mixed Media," which is what this product is generally used for, but paper crafters sure have taken a liking to it due to its drying matte so that you don't see the adhesive that most other adhesives just do not afford you.

I hope that you enjoy the card and video. I will be back on Saturday with another card and video. As you can tell, I desperately need a manicure and I'm going to go and get that done today.

I had an absolute horrible time taking this picture. I do not have any kind of decent set up at all. It's tough, let me tell ya. The light was all wrong where I usually take my pictures, so I had to go outside with this and it's sitting on top of my covered BBQ and the background is my house. I really need to find my stuff and find some space.

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today. I really appreciate it. God bless and have a great day.
