Hi friends. I've finally made it to Day 9 of my annual The 12 Days of Christmas Series with only 3 more installments to go so I actually will finish up before the end of October. Yay!
Today I have a very fun sketch to share with you for my design team work for The Paper Craft Crew Challenge (PCCCS013). We are celebrating our one year anniversary on October 31! I mentioned in the video that it was on October 3, which has obviously passed, so just ignore that. I was stumbling all over my words yesterday because I think faster than I talk, which is scary enough by itself!
Even though this video is 20 minutes, which beats my last video of 30, it's still not quite up to par but I think you will have fun watching it. I made this very elegant in its own way Winter Pines card for you using Watercolor Winter from the Holiday Catalog, which I think is a personal favorite of mine, and my sentiment comes from Fabulous Phrases from the Idea Book & Catalog. It's not really a Christmas card per se, but it can be used as one or even a winter card. Sometimes I just get seasonal burnout with cards and this was one of them. I have a lot of detail and texture on this card with embossing, 2-step stamping, die-cutting, and I even colored my own pearls! I will make a video on that soon as there's several different ways you can do that using various mediums and we will go through them all.
I hope that you enjoy this card and video. Don't forget to stop by the design team member blogs to see what they made for you and be sure to leave them a comment. God bless you and have a great day!
Love all the texture! Beautiful nature card. The splashes of red are such a nice addition.
I love this color combo!!!!! Nicely done.
