Birthday Boy Balloons

Good morning. I had a little time to get inky this week so I decided to do the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge (TESC151) this week along with a themed birthday challenge from Desert Island Crafts (DICC24) celebrating their first anniversary. This is one of those cards where you have a specific idea in your head but it turns out completely different on paper and takes on a life of its own. It's a very detailed card for me with a lot of stuff on it, but I hope that you like it and you are inspired. I used the large sentiment of "Make a Wish" on the inside and colored it in with pencils. I also punched a strip of designer paper using the Candles punch from EK Success. For my envelope, I inked up the very large banner from Make a Wish with Stampin' Up! Baja Breeze Classic Ink and heat embossed it using clear powder. I stamped this on an angle on the envelope and it looks pretty cool.

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and God bless. Today's Treasure: 1 Corinthians 1.
