SUOC214 + ATSM323: Winter

Hello there y’all! Welcome to today’s challenge at Stampin’ Up! Only Challenges, #SUOC214, Anything Winter, and our first challenge of the year. We would love for you to join us and meet the 2019 Design Team!

I’m also making this work for #ATSM323 over at Addicted to Stamps & More as a new Design Team member.

I played a little hard and fast with this one capitalizing on the word “winter.” I used a stamp set from the Holiday Catalog that carried over of First Frost, and I’m so happy this one didn’t retire. Last week, I showcased a card that used the DisTINKtive brand of rubber and photopolymer stamps, and this is one of them too, which are extremely popular. The sheer amount of work these save you with techniques is amazing for fast and beautiful projects, not to mention some nice clean and simple cards, such as below, with fun spring colors.

I have some great dimension on this multi-paneled card without bulk by using glue dots and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on only a few of the die-cut images. Clean and simple is my thing and what really makes this design stand out is just one element or accessory. In this instance, tying twine through punched holes for a faux paper stem holder immediately draws your eye down, then back up to the vibrant flowers, then right for the black stamped sentiment; fully adhering to the Rule of Odds for the visual triangle.

If you have any questions on this card, please contact me. Instructions are below. Thank you for stopping by to visit me today. Have a great day and God bless.
