Hello there y’all! We have a theme challenge at SUO Challenges celebrating Mother’s Day and hope that you join us.
I broke out the Climbing Orchard Bundle and got to work using 3 new delightful colors of Gray Granite, Highland Heather, and Shaded Spruce.
I will admit that I was skeptical about switching over to the new style of ink pads and formula. Not anymore. Not after I stamped with this. The ink coverage is amazing without the bubble/foam aspect. My ink pads are over a decade old and are definitely showing their age. Considering this was the first time I inked up this photopolymer stamp set, I was pleasantly surprised at how well my images laid down with the new ink formula. It’s clean.
I did tone-on-tone stamping for my leaves and flowers. The card base is Granite Gray with the flowers stamped in Highland Heather. The deep green panel behind the sentiment is Shaded Spruce. When you have that one color burst, no need to tie in the rest of the project. It can stand well enough on it’s own and almost become a second focal point.
The Climbing Orchard Bundle, as a bundle at 10% off, is available until May 31. The stamp set and coordinating Framelits carried over to the new catalog; however, the bundle pricing did not to make way for the new bundles.
