For today’s book binding card fold project, I’m using the new Simply Zinnia Suite Collection that’s available to you on March 5, 2024. This suite collection features 12 colors of:
There’s so many creative opportunities with this fun suite collection with the vivid designer series paper, fantastic standalone and image coordinating die-cuts, the line art stamp set and shiny sequins to embellish. If you like to color, this one is for you.
I am currently designing a to-go class with this suite collection that will also be available on March 5.

As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.
I started out with a Granite Gray CS base and cut a piece of Petal Pink and white polka dot Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper that I embossed with the Zinnia EF. I adhered this to the card base with liquid adhesive, scored the card base on the left at 1″ to create the book bind, and wrapped Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding that was bowed in the middle.
Next, I stamped the large zinnia image onto a piece of Basic White Thick CS with Gray Granite ink and colored in the zinnias with Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends with the stems and leaves in Lemon Lime Twist. After the images were colored, I re-stamped the image atop with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, which was then cut from its coordinating die.
I stamped the sentiment from Simply Zinnia onto Basic Black CS with Versamark ink, heat embossed with white powder, then cut and punched using the Banners Punch.
The image and sentiment were adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals and embellished with Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins.
