SUOC #329 | Ribbon, Lace or Twine

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #329 where our challenge is to use ribbon, lace or twine on your project, and hope that you join us!

I’m using the new Timeless Charm Bundle that will be available to you on July 6 with Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon.

I also brought in a lot of standalone dies of Alphabet A La Mode, Deckled Rectangles, and Give It a Whirl + the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper to create this simple project.

I started out with my card base and cut all of my CS to size of the Old Olive and designer series paper.

I adhered the DSP to the Old Olive mat with Seal Adhesive and then tied my Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon around where the two DSP patterns meet and bowed at the left.

I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of this panel and adhered to the card base.

I then went about my die-cutting of HB2U from the Alphabet A La Mode dies and a stitched heart from Give It a Whirl Dies from Fresh Freesia CS.

I picked the sizes of the Deckled Rectangles Dies using the alpha dies to determine how large of a panel I wanted. I ultimately chose the 6th largest Deckled Rectangle and cut that from Basic White Regular CS. For the Garden Green mat, I used the 5th largest Deckled Rectangle .

I adhered my HB2U to the Basic White Regular CS with liquid adhesive and then stamped a flower image over the letters with Fresh Freesia ink.

I adhered the sentiment panel to the Garden Green mat with Seal Adhesive and adhered the entire panel to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For final assembly, the stitched heart from Give It a Whirl Dies was adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensional and embellished with a large Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearl + 2 small pearls scattered on the card.
