SUOC #327 | Under the Sea | Waves of Inspiration

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #327, where we have an Under the Sea theme that covers everything under or in or around the sea, and hope that you join us.

I’m using Waves of Inspiration today with Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Tahitian Tide, and Night of Navy. The pink and yellow blended into the background is leftover color on my Blending Brushes. I used Shimmery White CS for today’s image panel for a bit of sparkle.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I had a good idea of what I wanted to do in my head with this card and it worked out.

I cut all of my card stock to size and started working on the Shimmery White CS image panel first.

I stamped the large wave image onto Shimmery White CS with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with white powder. With 2 Sponge Daubers, I inked on Pool Party and Coastal Cabana over the white heat embossed wave. I had an old Pacific Point Sponge Dauber, which recently retired, and used that atop of the wave in a few places. I used a Swiffer Cloth to clean up the excess ink off the white embossing to brighten that back up.

I grabbed my Pink and Yellow Blending Brushes and used what was left on them to fill in the rest of the background.

I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black with the seagulls in Night of Navy.

For final assembly, I adhered the image panel to the Tahitian Tide mat which was then adhered to the Basic Gray CS base with Seal.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
