Sun Prints Suite Collection | Global Design Project #366

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Global Design Project #366 where there is a sketch challenge. Head on over to their site and take a look. I flipped the sketch from landscape to portrait.

I’m using Sun Prints Suite Collection and the standalone dies of Give It A Whirl, Meadow, and Stylish Shapes. This card really came together easily and this is a great sketch for a clean and simple card.

I started out with an A2 portrait Basic White Thick CS base. I cut the image panel to size with Basic White Regular CS. I then went about die-cutting and stamping the rest.

I cut all of my squares to size and adhered them together with liquid adhesive.

The two large sprigs were cut from my favorite Meadow Dies from Basic White Regular CS.

I grabbed the smallest circle from Stylish Shapes Dies and the smallest stitched heart from Give It A Whirl Dies, and inlaid the heart die inside of the circle to die-cut from Basic White Regular CS. I die-cut another circle from the same cardstock and adhered the circle and heart atop. I stamped off the fern image x3 onto the circle with Night of Navy ink.

For final assembly, I arranged all of the elements on the card and started adhering.

The squares were adhered with liquid adhesive.

The sprigs were adhered with liquid adhesive about 3/4″ of the way up from the bottom for dimension.

I wrapped Whisper White Baker’s Twine around the image panel x2 adhering the ends to the back with Scotch Tape and tied a double bow that was aside until the end.

I then stamped the sentiment from Nature’s Prints stamp set at the lower right in Night of Navy ink.

I cut a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional in half and placed it on the left and right sides of the stamped circle and adhered that atop of the Baker’s Twine.

A Mini Glue Dot was placed right under the circle that I adhered the double bow to.

At the left of the top square, I adhered 3 medium Pearl Basic Jewels and one large pearl towards the right of the bottom square above the sentiment.
