For today's card, I decided to make a card that I saw for 2 seconds while watching some images rotating. I could not get it to stop so that I could see who gave me the inspiration for this card and to give them credit. I think it's a darling summer card and reminds me of the beach. I love the beach, sand, the ocean, the sound of the waves, the shells and sand dollars you can find at the beautiful California beaches. I've always loved living by the water. It has this fascinating draw to it. It's going on this summer's Bucket List  For my card, the image is water colored. That technique came roaring back in and went viral with all of the new mediums you can water color with, down to the $3 package of Crayola Water Colors. It is so much fun to water color. I love it and I am really loving using all of the new mediums out there to color with that have probably been there all along but us cardies just didn't pay too much attention to them until Mixed Media started incorporating itself into cards too. I love how anything can go.  I think that everything should go, but we just haven't done it yet. There's phases in this industry of what's hot and what's not and you do want it all. I've learned to work with what I have and less is more. I'm still an equal opportunity stamper, but I've been with Stampin' Up! now off and on for 7 years and keep going back. I'm still kicking around going to Convention this year and need to see if my GF Pam is going. She's great. We've bunked together before.

About a month before daddy died, I was here coloring and he said, "You always did like to color when you were little and make things. You especially liked office stuff." Well, a lot of that will soon be in my Cindy B Designs Boutique. All I have to do is put together just one of each kit I will have in the boutique and then make them when they are ordered. It's that simple. I just haven't done it yet and it's all sitting on the table behind me. You will see some serious eye candy in the boutique and a lot of things you would not expect from me. I suppose I better quit talking away and show you this adorable card that was so much fun to make and get back to filming next week's Stampin' Up! Catalog Show 'n Tell Class. I hope you stop by for daily challenges and prizes, along with a video introducing new products. Very swoon worthy!

Let's get to my card now. No video but with my pictures, it's so easy to see how I made this. I used Tim Holtz Distress Markers and have had everything I made this card with laying out on my desk for about a week to make sure you had a supply list. Now I can put them away and free up some more room. I have movers coming over tomorrow to take some of dad's stuff and put it in storage. I'm not ready to do anything permanent with that yet, but I do want my own  furniture here.

I hope you enjoy this card and I would like to thank whoever made this card too for the fabulous inspiration you gave me to break out the markers and do something that is not me and help me get out of a craft slump on top of it. Let's get to the supplies, shall we? Since I am in somewhat of a hurry, I'm not going to use the link list but just type them out.

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today and I really hope to see you next week for just some good old fashioned fun of making our way through the catalog and then my Summer Camp Class. Pinky swear promise you will have a great time!
