Stampin’ Up! New Catalog | Paper Craft Crew | Dragonfly Dreams + Jar of Love + Video | Accent Foiling

Well hello there! I hope this finds you happy. I have so many projects and videos to share with you. I’m still having time issues. It blows my mind how some people can do 4+ videos a week and voiceovers and all that planning. It’s a tremendous amount of work. The best cam setup I’ve ever had was when I had it hanging from the ceiling. Perfect balance, more space, it’s awesome. I think I’m going to be doing that again. I need to start making stuff work for me…and get back to that massive purge, especially with the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog going live on June 1. There’s a tremendous amount of information to share with you about the new catalog too that you will really enjoy.

I have to tell you that this catalog is one of the best I’ve seen for an annual catalog in a very long time. They’ve struck the right balance of vintage, shabby chic, watercolor, edgy and on trend. We have fabulous new In Colors with just the right amount of accessories. There is one stamp set that demonstrators can pre-order that we’ve all gone crazy over. So I finally get mine and they send me 2 of the same set and not the one that everybody is raving about. They are so going to overnight this to me. CRAFTING FOREVER! It’s sure to be a fav with the new Color Theory. I’m seriously impressed. There are a lot of carryover items, especially the bundles. I’ve noticed that ribbon is starting to be used more and all of the new techniques lately. The products in this catalog really have you covered. Last year’s Christmas Catalog stamp sets and/or bundles are now in this year’s annual catalog. That’s one of the reasons why I hang onto my stamp sets about 1-1/2 years after they’ve “retired.” And I always tell you to keep your investment too. The above is exactly why. We do have a beautiful ribbon selection and other accessories that are so cool. I can’t wait for the Christmas Catalog to come out!

If you need anything Stampin’ Up or have any questions, please let me know.

Today’s card is for my design team work at the Paper Craft Crew (PCC243). We had a great sketch this week, as always. By the time you read this blog post, this sketch will be closed for entries; however, I love going back through the various challenges for inspiration. Check out the Paper Craft Crew Pinterest Boards. I played the sketch pretty straight. The top banner I had under rather than over and used the little bumblebee in lieu of the circle.

This is an incredibly girly card for me and I have no idea what brought this on. I wanted to use some stamp sets that I haven’t given any attention to and just started to stamp and double stamp and triple stamped. I pulled off making my faux water look semi-real. Then I foiled the centers of the flowers and parts of the greenery.

I can’t explain the ribbon to you, but it was most likely to cover something gone wrong. Lots of texture on this one with strange features of a bokeh banner topped with a gold embossed vellum banner.

There’s also some heavy dry embossing with the Whisper White petal burst, hence the very appropriate name of the embossing folder. I used a variety of adhesives to build up my Jar of Love. I used 2 shades of yellow on the bumblebee. This is a 100% Stampin’ Up! card except for the lace ribbon.

I even finished off the inside and stamped an envelope. I like how I tied in the gold heat embossing with the foil. Both are subtle, but they do catch your eye. It’s always in the details and that has given me a new appreciation of all of those little nothing stamps in sets. I’d love to do a series on that for you. It’s amazing what you can create with those little things. Unbelievable.

I want to get this blog post up over at the Paper Craft Crew before the new challenge, which we always look forward to your participation. You provide us with a lot of inspiration. I’ll get a product list up for you and the video edited and processed too.

Thank you so much for stopping by to give me a visit today. God bless and have a wonderful day!
