Simple Stamping Before & After

Hello there! Today’s card is a quick happy accident before and after.

This is a story. I knew I wanted to use colored pencils on the typewriter, but, of course, forgot until after I had already adhered the image panel onto the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals and took pictures, which jolted the memory that I wanted to color, so… I colored in the typewriter with Basic Gray, Calypso Coral, and Flirty Flamingo colored pencils. Then I retook the picture, which made a huge difference, and here we are.

The supplies and measurements are below. Poppy Parade, which I love, and I seem to be drawn to reds, is my card base, DSP, and large stamped sentiment from Stitched All Around. The scallop border is from Be Mine Stitched die-cut, stamped sentiment from P.S. You’re the Best, and die-cut stitched heart from Stitched All Around is in Grapefruit Grove. The Rule of 3 is very evident in this card. The typewriter keys were filled in with a Flirty Flamingo colored pencil, the typewriter with Calypso Coral, with the paper and typewriter mechanics in Basic Gray. A Blender Pen pulled all of the color out for me.

I hope you enjoyed today’s vibrant card. Thank you for stopping by to visit. God bless and have a great day.
