Saint Nicholas | Cut, Shuffle & Stack Technique

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a super simple technique featuring the Online Exclusives of Traditions of St. Nick Designer Series Paper and our Holiday Catalog Saint Nicholas Bundle.

We are doing the cut, shuffle, and stack technique. Pull out your designer series paper, mix and match, then cut it all using the same measurements, shuffle your DSP so there’s different panels on each card, then stack to adhere the pieces on the card base. This technique can be applied to all of our paper or any occasion … + a fabulous way to mass produce cards AND use up your designer series paper. Use these fun cards to make as gift packs for your family and friends.

All of the card bases are landscape Basic White Thick CS A2 size with your measurements below, all cut from Traditions of St. Nick Designer Series Paper.

I brought in my Paper Crimper for the cardstock banner and some red|white twine that I had in my stash.

As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.

I started out with 5 A2 landscape card bases and cut my designer series paper to size at:

  1. Left panel: 1-3/4 x 4-1/4.
  2. Top panel: 3-3/4 x 1-1/8.
  3. Bottom panel: 3-3/4 x 3-1/8.
  4. CS panel: 1/2″ x 3-1/8.

I used liquid adhesive to adhere all of the designer series paper to the card bases.

The crimped cardstock was cut, crimped, banned punched, then adhered to the card base as shown with Tear & Tape.

The sentiment was stamped onto Basic White Regular CS with Copper Clay ink and cut from a Countryside Corner Die.

For final assembly, various colors of Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots were adhered to the card as shown.

Lastly, I tied a bow from my red|white twine and adhered this at the right corner of the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot.

For the inside, I stamped my sentiments from Saint Nicholas stamp set with Pebbled Path ink and die-cut the Saint Nicholas image from Traditions of St. Nick DSP from the coordinating Saint Nicholas Dies, then adhered with liquid adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
