Psalm 55 Tree

I know, I know…totally bad name for a card but I couldn't think of anything else! Today is Bible Verse Thursday Challenge 54 at Christian Paper Crafts where we are to use a verse about the hand of God. Of course, the most obvious stamp to use is one of hands, but I didn't have any stamps like that so I had to take a different route, i.e., out of the box. Instead, I focused a bit on Psalm poetry using chapter 55, verse 12. I'm stretching it here, but God is responsible for the mountains and hills bursting into song and the trees of the field clapping their hands. I think that's pretty cool, don't you? This card is very bright and fun. I did a combination of techniques that I usually don't do very often but am going through, or at least trying to, this shabby chic phase of crafting. Whether I'm being successful or not is an entirely different story, but I've giving it the ole' college try. What do you think? As always, thank you for your support and for stopping by! Don't forget to purchase the new Spring 2010 release of {ippity} Stamps that are available now. God bless you and I pray that you have a wonderful day in the Lord.

  1. I love this card and the tree is perfect – I have been looking for a cloud die – now I know where to find one – can't wait to get into my new house and finally have some time in the craft room – my head is so full of ideas from all the inspiration you and your dt at cpc have provided! God Bless!

  2. Cindy,
