Die-cut Inlay Technique Video + Pretty Perennials Friendship Card

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a Pretty Perennials Bundle card from the new Spring/January – June 2021 Catalog. This bundle pairs perfectly with the Sale-A-Bration Paper Blooms DSP, which is FREE to you on January 5, 2021 with a purchase of $50 in product.

This is how you work Sale-A-Bration. Purchase the Pretty Perennials Bundle (156234) for $45. Add on a Stampin’ Seal(+) refill, or whatever you need, and you will easily go over $50 to receive the Paper Blooms DSP for FREE.

This project incorporates products from the Annual Catalog + the new January – June Catalog. I am always going to call this our Spring Catalog. That’s just how it goes. My crafting staples usually come from the Annual Catalog and are always on hand.

Today, I’m featuring the inlay die-cut technique, which is really easy to do, and always packs a punch. Sometimes, this technique takes a bit of patience, depending on the images and/or sentiment, but … you wing it and figure out how much you’re willing to take on … read sufferingly neurotic in some instances. My inlay ‘friend’ from Well Wishes Dies was cut into Crumb Cake CS. NOTE: Be sure to save the little pieces of Crumb Cake CS that fall out after die-cutting. You will need the negative die-cut from the following letters when you die-cut: F, E, D. A smaller piece of Basic Black CS was adhered behind the Crumb Cake banner. I then used our Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and my Take Your Pick tool to adhere the Crumb Cake negative pieces in the F, E, and D. The sentiment banner was adhered to the Very Vanilla mat with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

As always, your shopping list and measurements are below.

The flowers were stamped tone-on-tone with the largest flower in Calypso Coral, medium in Pumpkin Pie, and the small flower in Terracotta Tile. White Elegant Faceted Gems were used as a stamen for the flowers. Sprigs were punched out of Old Olive CS and die-cut from Birds & Blooms in Mossy Meadow. These were adhered down with our liquid adhesive at the bottom and Mini Black Stampin’ Dimensionals at the top for extra dimension.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit. I hope you enjoyed today’s project. I have a video on how to make a die-cut inlay card HERE. Have a great day and God bless.
